Jobs Not Guns plans to bring up to 100 exhibitors to St. Luke's Center, the community center at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church, with room to serve up to 500 District residents, high school students included. The organizers are the Washington DC chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors, Inner Thoughts, Inc. and DC Black Concerned Businesses, and the event listing also names the Marshall Heights Community Development Organization and the DC National Guard Counterdrug Program. The mission is plain: connect residents with employers, apprenticeships and support services as a way to reduce gun violence in the city. This year's exhibitor list has not been posted.
